I am an on-location, natural light photographer. My style is a mix of photojournalism and creative portraiture. I currently don't offer a studio, however one will be available in the near future for specific portrait shoots such as newborns. I do still prefer to use our natural surroundings! I am based in Paris, Texas but available for travel anywhere!!
I only shoot a limited number of weddings each year and I accept 1 destination wedding each year with special pricing. My wedding style is based on capturing your day as it unfolds. Every wedding is different and I want to be able to tell your story. The majority of my brides choose to take part in the "first look," which is where the bride and groom see one another before the wedding. I'm not into outdated traditions.. but would rather you start your own traditions!! The first look is full of emotion; tears, laughing, hugs and kisses and WILL be one of the most intimate parts of your wedding day. It also gives us an hour to spend capturing what will most likely be some of your favorite images from your special day. If you have any questions, about the first look, please let me know! I shoot sessions Tuesday-Friday only. If I have a free weekend, which doesn't happen often, I like to spend it with my friends and family. :) The full amount of the session and a signed portrait contract are due at the time of booking to reserve a date. I normally book up about 3-4 months in advance. Each session includes up to 2 locations of your choice in the Paris area and up to 2 hours of coverage. I recommend having about 2-3 outfits for your session, but make sure to leave your matching white shirts at home! I love color and I love accessories- hats, scarves, ties, etc! The more color- the better! I do have locations that I can take you to but I'm always up for your taking me to yours as well. I love using new and challenging locations! I'm not your traditional photographer... my style is fun, casual, vintage, dramatic, high-fashion and sometimes just plain crazy. I keep the "mom shots" and "newspaper shots" to a minimum. I prefer to give you more creative portraits. Portrait sessions are very laid back... because the more comfortable you are, the better your images are going to turn out!
